Trout Hotel sponsors Taste Cumbria

Once again the Trout Hotel is proud to be a major sponsor of the Taste Cumbria Food Festival.  The success of  last year’s inaugural event saw 17,000 visitors to the festival and generated an estimated £370,000 for the town.

Last year’s festival saw demonstrations from celebrity chefs John Torode, Anthony Worrall Thompson and Aldo Zilli, as well as food tastings, live music and street entertainment, Made in Cumbria market and a variety of workshops for adults and children.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better and the Trout Hotel will be a major contributor, offering events in our festival marquee including VIP opportunities for hotel residents and friends.

The Trout Hotel has always supported our local suppliers and we believe that Cumbria has some of the best producers right here on our doorstep.  This event is a wonderful way of showcasing our passionate food producers, the beautiful town and local area.
