The AA Rosette awarded winning Derwent Restaurant, timelessly elegant yet relaxed offers food to the highest standard, combined with excellent service, in an informal friendly atmosphere.

The a la carte menu changes daily and is imaginatively prepared using the very best of local seasonal produce. Our brigade and our suppliers are people that are passionate about their craft and the countryside around them and our aim at The Trout Hotel is to support and promote home-grown and locally produced food.

After dinner retire to enjoy coffee in one of our comfortable lounges where you can also sample the bars extensive range of malt whiskeys and liqueurs.

Private Dining for that special occasion is becoming increasingly popular and is available in the Boardroom with patio doors leading to an outside Terrace patio area with heated parasol and in the Derwent Restaurant, each room offers a variety of seating arrangements to cater for your own specific requests. A selection of menus are available for private dining and the hotel will always remain flexible to meet your requirements.
