Christmas Eve - Thursday 24th December 2009

On arrival at the hotel, settle into one of our luxurious rooms and enjoy your Christmas welcome tray. At 7.00pm the management and team invite you to 'Welcome the Christmas Spirit' and join us for a champagne and canape reception in the lounge where carols will be sung for your enjoyment by the local Brownies. A sumptuous evening dinner will be served in the Derwent restaurant from 8.00pm.

 Christmas Day - Friday 25th December 2009

After a leisurely breakfast accompanied by Bucks Fizz, enjoy some fresh air, a brisk walk, local church service, whatever you wish, before the main event.  Appetites stimulated, it is time for our superb five course traditional Christmas luncheon serviced from 12.00 noon.  This afternoon you may wish to visit one of the beautiful lakes to walk off your lunch or for more relaxing afternoon, board games are provided in the lounges along with light refreshments.

 Boxing Day - Saturday 26th December 2009

Join us today on a trip round some of the finest scenery in the Lakes.  Our coach departs the hotel and passes the tranquil Loweswater, Crummockwater, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake, stopping for a light lunch on return journey.

Sunday 27th December 2009

To those who have to leave us we bid a fond farewell; however, for those wishing to extend their stay preferential rates are available.  As a final farewell, sherry and mince pies will be served in the lounge.

 Booking Conditions

Please telephone to make a provisional reservation and our reception staff will be happy to discuss your individual requirements.  A deposit of £50.00 per person is required to confirm the reservation and provisional reservations will be hold for 14 days.  The balance of your holiday is payable at reception on departure, together with any extras incuured.  All major cards are accepted.  Please note that deposits are not refundable.

Cancellation Charges

Following an increased number of cancellations, a cancellation charge will apply.  Should you need to cancel your holiday we must receive notification in writing.  Cancellation charges will be calculated as follows:

To cover the possibility of unexpected cancellation, we strongly advise that you take out a seperate insurance policy.
